Love Your Feet!

I am reviewing the many many issues with toe nails and the skin of the feet. So many issues can get bad fast and they actually can start from simple neglect.

Let us not neglect to trim our toenails! This is not just about getting ugly holes in your socks or even worse, a hole in your breathable sneakers..! By leaving them too long you can cause extra pressure on your nail beds. This can cause serious damage to the way your nails grow, causing cause ingrown nails or much worse! Such a simple thing to do is to keep them trimmed as often as they need it. Its actually more important than you think ♡

Next.. hard callused areas are that way for a reason..! Do ignore it and allow the problem to continue. Friction and pressure need to be changed or the issues will just continue to get worse and worse. Corns can actually turn into ulcers and very serious issues, even in extreme cases amputation. All from not taking care to prevent rubbing in our shoes or wearing ones that are too tight. There is so much we can prevent when we pay attention to the early signs.

When your heels get dry and cracked we need to take action. Cracks or fissures can actually progress to bleeding deeper cracks and inflammation or infection if left uncared for. Moisturizer and proper care is so important. Once again, things we can so easily prevent if we notice early.

For the people who work long hours or their feet, you need great support. Your feet do not need to be sore at the end of the day! Your feet are worth the extra dollars for a well made, welll fitting shoe. Its best to get someone certified to fit you properly as well. When you work many days in a row with the same footwear, you should invest in a second pair to rotate back and forth. Otherwise, shoes that dont get to dry out well between use can be terrible for us to wear. Extra moisture for our feet and odor will continue to build up without airing out properly. Foot fungus and even thick fungal nails can happen. Once again... Prevention is so worth it!

Love Your Feet! ♡ Take great care of them :)
